'4K City Walks: Portsoy, Scotland Virtual Walking treadmill video and Tour for Treadmill walks Portsoy is a few miles east of Cullen (other direction from Buckie). It\'s famous for being the site of filming for the remake of Whiskey Galore film based on the famous book. It\'s a small but charming movie. It\'s also famous for its Portsoy Ice Cream parlor and their bubble waffles. I can attest that they are delicious, especially, just a waffle with caramel sauce. It has a boat house for classes and commmunal space to build wooden boats. A sail loft for activities. And a salmon bothy museum with free entrance. Finally, it has an annual Scottish Traditional Boat Festival held in June. It\'s a lovely town with a great harbor with a small pub. Great old historic buildings still in use.
