'People in some New Orleans neighborhoods are 5x more likely to die of heart disease than residents in a neighboring zip code, due to unhealthy foods, according to the American Heart Association. This is because there is a severe lack of large grocery stores with fresh, healthy food options. These are known as food deserts. Food insecurity and lack of access to fresh and healthy food, as well as access to opportunities for easy mobility, is an overwhelming problem throughout the Greater New Orleans area; and the American Heart Association is working to eliminate this. The American Heart Association hired BAMM Communications to produce this video.'
