New Tools Map the Brain to Remove Tumors at Abrazo Central Campus

Less than 24 hours after having a golf ball sized brain tumor removed, Ed Cerninka is talking, smiling and joking with his family and a  KTVK TV reporter at Abrazo Central Campus. The only evidence of his surgery is a small incision covered with butterfly bandages above his left ear. Cerninka said he’s thankful that he found Dr. Marco Marsella who is the only Arizona physician trained to use the new BrainPath technology which allows minimally invasive brain surgery.
