In addition to specializing in obstetric, prenatal and postpartum care, a CNM can also perform annual well woman exams, Pap smears, breast exams and mammograms. This unique training allows them to both view the “big picture” while still individualizing care to each patient’s unique physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
