Advocate Christ Medical Center’s Nursing Manager Betty Mushynski was identified as a frontline hero by UnitedHealth Group and recently surprised by a video call with 20-time PGA TOUR winner Dustin Johnson. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Betty managed the surgical trauma unit at one of the largest trauma centers in the State of Illinois. Anticipating a surge in patients, Betty volunteered to manage two COVID-19 units – one critical care unit and another step-down unit. Betty and three other healthcare heroes located across the United States were surprised with calls from PGA TOUR members and a gift package including a new set of TaylorMade clubs, the opportunity to attend a 2021 PGA TOUR event, complimentary golf and an autographed pin flag from today’s event. Dustin along with his team member World-Ranked No. 1 Rory McIlroy competed against fan favorite Rickie Fowler and 2019 first-time TOUR winner and 2019 NCAA National Champion Matthew Wolff in the TaylorMade Driving Relief supported by UnitedHealth Group charity match, raising money in the fight against COVID-19. Thank you UnitedHealth Group, TaylorMade and #DrivingRelief for supporting our healthcare heroes!See also:
