In my last video, I showed you all my Foundation Routine. So for today, I wanted to show an alternative for those of you that prefer wearing little makeup. I wanted to debunk the myth that you need to wear a lot of makeup in order to cover your acne. In this video, I feature an easy technique that works to cover acne scars, dark spots, redness, and general spots with JUST concealer. It has helped me transition and feel more comfortable in my bare skin. Don't be discouraged if you have cystic acne and aren't able to cover them with concealer! I think the best thing to do is to let the spots be, especially if it's sensitive to touch. I use to feel the need to try and cover every bump on my face, but the truth is, no matter how much makeup we put on it will not cover texture/bumps. So why not use LESS makeup? Instead, when I'm applying makeup for acne, I focus more on taking the attention away from my spots. This means putting the focus more on covering redness and dark spots, while also enhancing the features I DO like about myself. Wearing no foundation and using mainly concealer, can also benefit your skin and prevent clogging your pores.
