Faced with a possible shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE), nurses at Henry Ford Allegiance Health sprang into action by innovating their own face shields. Now partnering with local manufacturer Technique, Inc., hundreds of protective shields are being produced to help keep front line health care workers safe during the COVID-19 crisis and helping to sustain local industry, at the same time.
