In 2019, Alignment Healthcare introduces ACCESS On-Demand Concierge, an exclusive program that offers its California Medicare Advantage members 24/7 access to a board-certified physician and their very own concierge team.   Alignment’s member concierge team is dedicated to helping members understand their health plan benefits, schedule appointments and arrange transportation, all included in the price of the plan – any time of day, every day of the week.    If you are eligible for Medicare coverage, Medicare Advantage, or Part C, plans are an alternative to Original Medicare that often include more coverage and are similar to HMO and PPO insurance plans offered by employers. Those who are turning 65 years old are eligible to sign up for Medicare 3 months before their 65th birthday and up to 3 months afterward. This seven-month period is called the initial enrollment period.
