'\"There are no shortcuts to any place worth going!\" No matter your choice of fitness program, you must \"Care, Commit and be Consistent\" in order to achieve your goals & maintain your fitness! When you commit yourself to eat a healthy diet, get enough sleep and exercise regularly such as doing TABATA/HIIT* for 10 to 20 mins a day x 40 days (or 45 days) at least, e.g. 5 days per week (with 2 days break) for 8 weeks (or 9 weeks), you will lose weight & achieve new heights in your aerobic capacity and general fitness. IMPORTANT NOTICE:  Before doing this workout, it is vital to read the CHECKLIST (Requirement) at the bottom of this description. If you are OK to commence this program & are new to TABATA/HIIT, try only 1 x set of the LOW IMPACT option (from 0:09 to 7:52 in the video) plus Cooldown 5 days/week.   After 3 weeks, build it up to 2 x sets of LOW IMPACT (15 mins) + Cooldown 5 days/week, and then over time, gradually include some high impact exercises. Please listen to your body, and only do with what your body can cope. Don\'t do what your doctor said not to do!   You must also add the Cool Down at the end of each session to relieve joint tension, lengthen your spine and stretch your muscles.  Please note: This video is the amended version of my TABATA (HIIT) #1 workout program.   WHAT IS TABATA? TABATA was founded by Japanese scientist Dr. Izumi Tabata and his team who conducted a landmark study (1996) comparing moderate vs  high-intensity training, testing 2 groups of athletes for 6 weeks using an interval-based training model - 20/10 session repeated eight times. \"The result states a 28 percent increase in the subjects\' anaerobic capacity, plus a 14 percent increase in their VO2max.\"    AFTER BURN EFFECT: According to webMD, \"TABATA improves athletic performance and glucose metabolism and acts as an excellent catalyst for fat burning. The excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC) effect for TABATA occurs immediately after the workout, so you keep burning calories.\"   CHECKLIST: 1.
