After art school, she studied make-up to fulfill her childhood ambition to be a make-up artist. She won the 2013 Critics’ Choice Award for Best Makeup for her work on Halle Berry in Cloud Atlas. Richards owns the London Brush Company and worked on HBO’s Bessie as Queen Latifah’s personal.'
