Reducing the Risk of Colorectal Cancer

Eric Fox, who serves on the American Cancer Society Alaska chapter Advisory Board, lost his mother Rhoda to colorectal cancer.   He shares five tips to help reduce the risk of colorectal cancer:  1. Quit smoking and other forms of tobacco  2. Exercise regularly  3. Eat a balanced diet and maintain a healthy weight  4. Limit alcohol consumption 5. Get screened - Alaska Native people age 40 and older; all adults age 50 and older.
