Beyond The Grind Iron. Adrian Peterson recovers from a torn ACL & MCL to keep his dominance in the NFL and continues to be possibly the best running back in the NFL today. As of Week 16, Peterson is leading the NFL in rushing with 1,898 yards and averaging 6.0 yards a carry. He also has 11 touchdowns, with a further 215 yards receiving. Averaging 126 yards per game over the first 15 games, he is on pace to become the 7th player to rush for 2000 yards in a season.
