'Watch my interview with Scott Pera, Rice Owls men\'s basketball head coach. During the conversation, Coach Pera recaps the Owls\' 2020-21 season from dealing with COVID-19 to the team\'s successful C-USA Tournament.  Coach Pera discusses the growth in guards Quincy Olivari and Travis Evee as well as the 4 other returning players. Coach also discusses the incoming transfers, freshmen, and injured players from last season who are now healthy.  He also gives an overview of the basketball played in C-USA and also his thoughts on WKU big man Charles Bassey. Bassey is projected to get selected in the 2021 NBA Draft.  Coach also comments on his relationship with James Harden.  Coach Pera mentions a few of the Owls\' nonconference opponents for the upcoming season; and, he shares his thoughts on an H-town college basketball event involving Houston, HBU, Rice, and Texas Southern.
