'I ordered my daughters their very own debit card from greenlight. Parents if you are looking for a way to give your child allowance without having to remember to get cash, this card is for you. Kids if you parent always complain of not carrying money show them this video.  No sponsorship from the above company. I found this card in the app section in my phone, the app is free, there is a 30 day free trial once you start to load the card, and then $5.99 a month for the card. This is all good as it teaches your child responsibility and then when they get 16 years old they will be ready for a true bank account of their own.  This also helps with field trips that allow money to be brought, sometimes us parents forget to go to the cash machine no worries with this card. Most places accepts Visa.  Also if you want the card with a picture on it it is a fee of $9.99, plain card free.
