'My version of the bass line of The Allman Brothers Band\' instrumental \"Jessica\", played on my Alembic Essence Bass guitar, over a custom-rendered MIDI backing track.  ABOUT THE SONG \"Jessica\" was written by guitarists Dickey Betts and Les Dudek.  The song was reportedly written as a tribute to Django Reinhardt, as Betts used only two fingers in the guitar part.  Reinhardt, a famous jazz guitarist, could only use two fingers because of a childhood injury.  The song, produced by The Allman Brothers and Johnny Sandlin, was recorded in october 1972 at the Capricorn Sound Studios, Macon, Georgia and first released on the band\'s 1973 album \"Brothers and Sisters\".  \"Jessica\" was not very successful as a single, reaching number 65 on the Hot 100 chart, but it contributed to the commercial success of \"Brothers and Sisters\" due to an extensive airplay on radio.  ABOUT THE BASSLINE Berry Oakley, the original bassist of The Allman Brothers Band died on november 11, 1972, during the recording sessions of \"Brothers and Sisters\".  \"Jessica\" was the first Allman Brothers song recorded by Lamar Williams, the new bassist of the band.     ________________________________________   Mi versión de la línea de bajo de la canción \"Jessica\" de Allman Brothers Band\", interpretada con mi bajo Alembic Essence sobre una \"backing track\" realizada para esta grabación a partir de ficheros MIDI.
