'Nail care is something very important for puppies to get used too! Your pup will need all sorts of handling, including their toe nails, cleaning their ears, brushing their hair, messing with their face, lips, and eyes! Before trimming their nails, make sure you are working daily on handling their paws, toes, and legs. We like using a dremel to smooth out nails, but it can be loud and unnerving to some dogs. So, we spend some time with the dremel on, nearby, helping our puppy hear the sound and feel the vibrating of the dremel against their feet! If your pup is scared, don\'t move any further to actually touching the spinning end to their nail - and if they are slightly comfortable, you can always do one or two toes. I like to spend a lot of time varying between nails and holding the dremel to vibrate against Chaka\'s paws'
